If there were one thing I would want everyone to have a genuine understanding with head and heart, it would be that God loves you. Though you woke up on ‘the wrong side of the bed’, you cursed at the drivers on the way to work, grumbled at a co-worker, messed up at the job, ate fries loaded with gravy for lunch breaking all your diet rules, arrived back at work late, missed an important deadline, went home and yelled at the kids and spouse just because you were mad, kicked the lego across the floor, and took out your frustration on the internet by spewing gossip around, the Lord still loves you. His love is not conditional upon what you do, but who you are. If you reside in an earthly body, you are His creation and He loves you.
His love for you is strong, steady and unfailing. Whether you believe He exists, or does not exist, He still loves you. If you are His child because you are ‘born again’ and you think He turns away because you are doing wrong, He is always waiting for you with open arms to return. Why? Because He loves you. The Word of God is the Truth and speaks of God’s great love toward you.
but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us. For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are- high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean- nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us. Rom. 8:37-39 TLB
We love him, because he first loved us. 1Jn.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1Jn.
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love... Jer. 31:3
Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death… S.of S. 8:6
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Eph.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Rom. 5:5
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Jam. 1:17
Jesus loves you this I know, for the Bible tells me so…
